Nakheel Mall at Palm Jumeirah along with Moto Dancers, the Middle East's first Afrobeats dance crew, is set to host the Dubai Dance Championship.
The event will be held on Friday, 10 December and will run from 11am to 11pm on the East Side Rooftop at Nakheel Mall.
The championship is open to all and will host Jeny BSG, Belgian choreographer and founder of AfroHouse Belgium, Afro By Sarah, Lebanese choreographer and Nike Pro Hijab Ambassador, Dancegod Lloyd, Ghanaian dancer, coach and founder of DWP Academy, Awash, Kuwaiti dancer and instructor, Mel Perreira, a top choreographer from Kuwait and Noura, Saudi Afro dancer and instructor.
Guest choreographers will perform from 11am to 6.30pm with a dance-off between teams taking place from 6.30pm to 11pm.
Five group coaching sessions led by professional choreographers for Dhs 51, will be held from 11am to 6.30pm, for individuals looking to practice their dance moves.
