The fifth edition of the Mother of the Nation Festival (MOTN) will run for ten days, from 9 to 18 December.
Held at the Abu Dhabi Corniche, the festival will offer individuals with six themed zones, Inspire Space, Thrill Zone, Food Hub, Music Arena, Shopping District and Amusement Park.
The Inspire Space zone will go on a journey through UAE’s history and will offer rooms that have been designed by artists based in the UAE including the Dessert Museum, a MOTN Funhouse and a special area for manga and cosplayers.
The Thrill Zone will include a skate and parkour park, horror rooms, VR gaming hub, the famous Rick and Morty Lazer Tag, Jeep Track, educational art and crafts workshops, play areas and interactive games and more family-friendly activities.
The Food Hub is set to offer the best local and international food and beverage vendors, with Daniel Popper, a sculptor known for his work at Burning Man and Tulum Festivals, displaying his installation at the hub.
The Amusement Park will showcase amazing cartoons including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Paw Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and more.
Additionally, the Family Stage will include a fire fiesta, tribal drum circle, stage shows by kids, Rola Bola Acrobats, afrobeat dancers, mummy and me dance fit, hip hop cardio class and more.
The Shopping District will offer a variety of local and global brands and the Music Arena will have Sherine, an Egyptian superstar headline.
