Emirates and Qantas Extend Partnership

Emirates and Qantas have announced an extension to their partnership, which offers passengers a wide network of flights to choose from.

The partnership was created in 2013 and has since offered 13 million passengers with a joint network.

Initially set to run until March 2023, the partnership between the two airlines has now been extended by five years and will run until 2028.

Through the agreement, passengers will have added connectivity to Australia through Qantas as well as better connecting flights to the Middle East, Europe and North Africa through Emirates. 

With the codeshare, travellers can enjoy connectivity to over 100 destinations will 55 destinations in Australia and New Zealand, 38 destinations in the UK and Europe, 13 destinations in Africa and the Middle East and 2 destinations in Asia.

Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airlines said, "Our partnership seamlessly connects travellers to over one hundred destinations globally on our joint network, and offers a coordinated premium experience such as access to points and lounges. As borders re-open, we look forward to restoring our Australian flight schedules including our popular A380 services, and to welcoming customers to experience our best-in-class partnership for many more years to come."
