The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has announced the revised rules for schools and universities in Dubai.
Students need to now maintain a physical distance of one metre instead of two with all precautionary measures including wearing a mask and washing hands to continue.
If in close contact with a positive case, the individual needs to quarantine for seven days. If symptoms show, a PCR test needs to be taken and if no symptoms are seen, a PCR test is not required.
An individual that tests positive, needs to quarantine for 10 days.
A clearance certificate will automatically be issued once quarantine is completed after getting a positive result.
Once the certificate is submitted to the school or university, the student or teacher can return.
