The Department of Government Support has announced that government companies can now return to full work capacity.
In order to ensure the safety of employees, all precautionary and safety measures will be followed.
The change comes into effect on 5 September.
Vaccinated employees and individuals exempted need to follow government testing requirements as well as have a green status on the Al Hosn App.
Individuals that have not been vaccinated need to get tested every 7 days.
Individuals that do not comply with the testing rules will not be allowed to work and the days missed will be counted as their annual leave or will be deducted from their monthly salary.
One parent will be allowed to work from home if with a child in Grade 10 and below or are exempt from attending in-person classes based on medical authorisation and a statement from the educational institution.
Additional authorisation can be given by employers based on government regulations.
