The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has announced the launch of CulturAll Artists.
The platform will identify and promote the community of artists in the UAE and will allow artists to connect and engage with art practitioners and institutions worldwide.
The platform will provide insight into the practices of UAE-based artists with biographies, imagery of an artists work, details of their participation in upcoming programmes, the artist's social media handles and contact information will be available for users to follow their work or to connect with the artists.
A submission portal is also available on the CulturAll Artists website where artists or creative individuals based in the UAE can apply to be featured on the platform.
The submissions will be reviewed and selections will be made by a committee of experts.
CulturAll launched in April 2020 and has since helped Abu Dhabi’s cultural centres, museums and initiatives reach their audiences by transforming physical offerings into virtual ones through content created for viewers to consume and engage with via social media channels.
