Upates on capacity and occupancy levels have been made in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
In Abu Dhabi the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has announced the changes that will come into effect from 20 August when vaccinated individuals are allowed to enter public places.
From 20 August, shopping malls, entertainment centres, cultural centres, museums and movie theatres will operate at 80% capacity along with all precautionary measures followed.
Restaurants and cafes will also operate at an 80% capacity, with 10 people allowed to sit at a table and face masks worn when not dining.
50% of operational capacity is allowed at health clubs, sports academies, gyms and spas, along with individuals wearing facemasks and maintaining physical distance.
Community and sports events, corporate events including exhibitions and conferences and entertainment events including theatre plays and concerts will operate at a 60% capacity.
Wedding halls can host a maximum of 100 people and operate at 60% capacity.
Public transportation will operate at 70% capacity with taxis travelling with three individuals in a five-person taxi and four individuals in a seven-person taxi.
In Dubai, the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has announced that restaurants and cafes can now operate at an 80% capacity, with a maximum of 10 individuals seated at a table.
5,000 individuals can be in attendance at outdoor events with entertainment and sports events venue capacity set at 60% capacity.
Hotels can now function at full 100% capacity.
