The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has announced that booster shots are available for individuals after receiving both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The booster shots will be given out six months after the individual has received both doses of the vaccine.
Individuals that are at risk including senior citizens and individuals with chronic illnesses can get the booster shot 3 months after receiving both doses, in order to offer additional immunity.
The vaccination can help in preventing complications and hospitalisation.
