Abu Dhabi Airports along with National Ambulance, have signed an agreement which states that emergency medical services will be provided across all their airports.
The services have been implemented at Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Bateen Executive Airport and Al Ain International Airport.
70 medical and support staff will be present on-site to support the airports and their travellers in case of any medical emergencies.
Two months of training have been given to the staff to prepare them for their services.
The emergency medical teams will consist of Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians, along with the Ambulance Communications Centre, as well as six ambulances and one fast response vehicle.
