The Louvre Abu Dhabi's Children's Museum is set to re-open to children to explore their emotions from 18 June.

The 'Emotions!: The New Art Adventure' exhibition will feature ten artworks as well as interactive stations to help children in familiarising and helping them with identifying their individual emotions.

Understanding emotions is a critical milestone in a child's development and will cater to the age group from four to ten.

The exhibition will be on till 2023 and will include immersive and interactive play areas and educational areas to help them learn about emotions.

Children will be given a wristband with their profile and can collect points by completing activities and challenges.

Workshops are also conducted by three Emirati artists on how to showcase your emotions through art in the form of 3D art, drawing and collages.

His Excellency Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi said, “Louvre Abu Dhabi's Children's Museum is a haven of discovery, learning, and stimulation and we are thrilled to see it reopen its doors to children and their families. The arts have the capacity to open a child's creative potential, allowing them to see themselves and the world differently. The emotional wellbeing of our children is just as important as their physical wellbeing, and this important exhibition uses art as a catalyst for young ones to healthily connect with and express their feelings.”

Entry to Louvre Abu Dhabi is free for individuals aged 18 and under. Families can buy museum admission tickets for the whole family to access all Louvre Abu Dhabi galleries and exhibitions with access to the Children's Museum included.
