Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has announced that people can now book their COVID-19 vaccine at DHA facilities via WhatsApp.

The DHA WhatsApp hotline will use artificial intelligence to book the appointments in an initiative to integrate technology to help the healthcare sector.

To access the service, individuals will have to add 800342 to their contacts and send a message with 'Hi' in it. The service is available at any time during the week.

To book the vaccination slot, the Medical Record Number (MRN) should be submitted. The MRN is required to access the service.

A vaccination centre along with the appointment date and time can be booked by the individuals at their convenience.

Once confirmed, a confirmation message with the vaccination centre, date and time will be given to the individual.

Individuals aged 60 and above can book their vaccines by calling the DHA helpline, 800342.

Fatma Al Khajah, Director of the Customer Happiness Department at DHA said, “Through the use of AI technology and this additional channel to book an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine, we aim to provide community members with the utmost convenience. The new service will further bolster our vaccination drive.”
