Dubai Economy has announced that a new digital platform 'Dubai Raffles' will be used to manage raffle draws as well as scratch and win promotions in Dubai.
The initiative is a part of the Dubai Paperless Strategy and will also provide a precautionary means against the pandemic as it does not require an exchange of physical paper.
Organisers of promotional campaigns will see an increase in efficiency as using the platform will not require developing systems of management or printing coupons.
Raffle, as well as Scratch and Win draws, can be distributed electronically by the organisers and can manage the campaign via the dashboard with all the information pertaining to winners, duration of the draws and more available on the platform.
Additionally, a countdown to announcing the winners is also available.
Through the platform, automation provides ease in managing the campaigns and will also eliminate the need for a Dubai Economy inspector to be present to monitor the draws.
Individuals can use the platform through the Dubai Raffles website or through the Dubai Raffles App that is available on the App Store as well as the Play Store.
Information on all the promotional draws entered, the number of coupons purchased, prizes, draw dates, how to claim prizes as well as the terms and conditions relating to the raffles and consumer rights protection will be available.
His Excellency Sami Al Qamzi, Director General of Dubai Economy said, “Dubai Economy, through its Commercial Compliance & Consumer Protection (CCCP) sector, is constantly seeking to promote cordial relations and mutual trust between merchants and consumers. The 'Dubai Raffles’ platform is a value-added service that will further enhance ease of business and support retailers in their business development. The platform offers a digital and cost-effective opportunity for businesses of all sizes to promote their products and services through promotional campaigns and events.”
