Digital Verification Of Medical Records With DHA And Emirates

WAM

Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Emirates Airlines have started the process of connecting the digital verification of COVID-19 medical records, including vaccinations and testing, for individuals in the UAE.

Passengers that have taken a PCR test can now check in at Dubai International Airport (DXB) without having to present the physical copy of their PCR test result.

Individuals that have received their vaccine from DHA health centres in Dubai will now have their documents linked during check-in.

The new system will help speed up the verification process for passengers travelling from DXB, and will be in sync with the documents required for entry to the final destination.

Emirates will also only use the necessary information for travel and on completion of check-in, the information will be discarded from Emirates systems.

Passengers arriving from places outside Dubai will need to carry physical copies of their negative PCR test as some countries require physical copies.
