Emirates in an effort to highlight the strides the UAE has made through the National Vaccination Programme is offering a special flight that will only be carry passengers and crew that have been vaccinated.
The special flight, EK2021, will take off from Dubai International Airport at 12 noon on 10 April and will land back at 2.30pm on the same day and will take passengers over various locations in the UAE.
The special flight will celebrate the success of the vaccination programme in providing over 8 million doses of vaccine to the public.
All Emirates staff aboard will have been vaccinated including pilots and crew members, with over 35,000 Emirates employees receiving their COVID-19 vaccine.
Passengers aboard the flight will get to experience the new Emirates A380 aircraft which also features brand-new Premium Economy seats along with refreshed cabin interiors in all cabin classes. A full-course gourmet meal will also be served in all classes.
Travellers will also get to experience all that Dubai International Airport's services have to offer on-ground before boarding the flight.
'Tripset' an app launched by Airbus, will provide all the flight and travel information required for the passenger to be aware of before travelling. The app will help minimise the need to visit various sources to get information on restrictions and travel conditions set in place.
