The Dubai Harbour now has a new cruise terminal located between Bluewaters and Palm Jumeriah, and two ships operated by German cruise line AIDA Cruises, AIDAprima and AIDAvita, are the first to dock at there s the new terminal is tested before becoming operational.
Since 2006, the UAE has become a frequent stop for the AIDA ships and in 2018, Carnival Corporation, which owns Aida Cruises, along with Dubai-based Shamal Holding, entered into a deal to build the terminals.
Once full operational the cruise line, between November 2021 and April 2022, will offer a seven-day cruise which includes an overnight stay in Dubai.
There also options for other destinations on the itineraries including Abu Dhabi and Muscat in Oman.
