Miral has announced that Yas Island and will soon become a contactless destination and it will soon use FacePass, which uses facial recognition to identify guests.
Yas Island theme parks including Ferrari World and Warner Bros World are the first theme parks in the UAE to use FacePass.
With the assistance of the Yas Island mobile app, visitors and annual pass holder's information is linked with ticketing systems and turnstiles and will allow easy access around the park.
At select retail and dining outlets, FacePass can also be used to make payments without any contact.
Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island guests will receive wristbands that can be used to unlock their individual hotel rooms and can also be used to get access into the Yas Island theme parks.
