Yas Island Goes Purple For Emirati Children's Day

To celebrate Emirati Children's Day on 15 March, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi's leisure and entertainment hub, will be all lit up in purple.

Emirati Children's Day is celebrated on this day to coincide with the Wadeema Law, which focused that all children under the age of 18 be provided will all the necessary living standards, including health services, education and equal opportunities, without any discrimination.

The Wadeema Law was passed on 15 March 2016 and each since has been celebrated as Emirati Children's Day.

Yas Island, to show support towards children will light up in purple across its key attractions including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, Clymb Abu Dhabi, the Yas Plaza Hotels, Etihad Arena and W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island.
