Restrictions on residents entering Abu Dhabi are to be lifted allowing entry into the Emirate, on condition of presenting a negative coronavirus COVID-19 test that was taken within the previous 48 hours.
Results will be checked by police at the border, either on the Al Hosn mobile application or by presenting an sms message from a hospital where te est was taken or a screening centre associated with the National Screening Programme.
Residents must follow all preventative and precautionary measures in place to contain the spread of coronavirus COVID-19, such as wearing masks and observing physical distancing.
Restrictions of movement between Abu Dhabi and other emirates have been in place since 2 June.
