You can now burn 500 to 1,300 calories at JBR Beach’s newest attraction AquaFun, which features an inflatable pool which has been stretched out in the shape of Dubai’s official logo and reads ‘I Love Dubai’ when viewed from above.
The new feature demonstrates the innovative vision of the UAE and is the brain child of none other than His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The idea follows the success of the recently launched Love Lake in Al Qudra which caught the attention of everyone.
The new innovative park is the largest of its kind and is spread across 5,000 square metres and can accommodate 500 people. People can enjoy a number of in-built activities with nine rescuers in sight, ensuring their safety all the time during the operating hours of 9am to sunset.
Ahmad Ben Chaibah, an Emirati businessman and founder of AquaFun, who is also the designer of its games says, "Our mission and goal is to create happy memories for families and young people, especially as we consider that every person has a child inside him or her who is eager to be unleashed. This is what AquaFun seeks to offer its visitors.”
The park has been designed as an obstacle course, in which visitors climb, manoeuvre and jump around to reach the endpoint, in an area of 100 obstacles and a challenge of stairs, slopes, towers, bridges, curves and much more.
Tickets to the park a for a whole days access and visitors can go out for a bite to eat and some relaxation time on the beach, before returning for more fun in the park.
Apart from some rain recently, the weather in Dubai this time of year very well suited for beach activities and being outdoors and this new park definitely should be on everyone’s list for a fun family day out!
