Dubai Police has opened registration for the fifth edition of its Esports Tournament, set to take place on 17 and 18 August at the Dubai Police Officers Club in Al Jaddaf.
The competition is open to male and female gamers of all nationalities, aged 10 to 35 years old, and offers a total prize pool of Dhs 200,000. Registration is now live via the official Dubai Police portal.
More than just a gaming event, the tournament is part of a wider initiative by Dubai Police to promote cyber safety and digital wellbeing among youth. Participants will engage in thrilling competitions while also receiving education on cybercrime prevention, online fraud, data privacy, and safe gaming practices.
Dubai Police stressed the importance of balancing screen time with physical and mental health, and avoiding the sharing of personal information during in-game interactions.
With esports on the rise globally, this initiative reflects Dubai Police’s commitment to community engagement and youth outreach, blending entertainment with awareness to ensure a safer digital environment for all.
