Dubai Universities Launch New Degrees And Scholarships

Dubai is rapidly expanding its higher education offering as leading universities in Dubai Knowledge Park and Dubai International Academic City roll out new future-focused degrees and generous scholarships for the new academic year. This includes courses in artificial intelligence (AI), wealth management and game development, along with new grants and scholarships. 

At Amity University Dubai, students can now access up to 50% scholarships and a 30% bursary, with all programmes fully accredited in the UAE. The university is emphasising industry collaboration and applied learning across fields including technology and business.

Manipal Academy of Higher Education has introduced tech and liberal arts degrees, from Computer Science and Financial Technology to Psychology, Film-making and Mass Communication, with merit-based scholarships up to 30% for undergraduates, 10% for post-graduates and 15% for MBA candidates. Talented athletes may also qualify for sports scholarships covering up to 50% of first-year tuition fee.

University of Birmingham Dubai, ranked among the world’s top 100 universities, is offering innovative degrees such as Robotics and AI, Sustainable Innovation, and Urban Analytics, with scholarships up to 30% across all levels, some reaching 50% by invitation.

At the University of Wollongong in Dubai, students can apply for undergraduate scholarships of 15% to 50% and postgraduate grants of up to 25%, along with the Adam Gilchrist Sports Scholarship offering 50% coverage of tuition fee. The school is also driving research in AI and sustainability.

Murdoch University Dubai is launching a Bachelor’s in Games Design and Development, with up to 40% merit scholarships and 50% for foundation programmes, preparing students for careers in a growing industry.

SAE University College Dubai,  celebrating two decades of media education in the UAE, has now expanded into Computer Science and offers grants of up to Dhs 50,000. The institution continues to support creative media professionals with targeted financial aid.

Meanwhile, SP Jain School of Global Management adds a Master of Applied Finance and Wealth Management programme, alongside its globally ranked Executive MBA. Unique offerings include a ‘New Mothers’ scholarship, supporting diverse learner needs.

These announcements are part of Dubai’s broader strategy to attract talent, equip students with future-ready skills, and strengthen its global standing as an academic destination of choice by 2033.
