A new iconic tower in the Al Sufouh neighbourhood will soon grace the Dubai’s iconic skyline.
With the first phase of the project scheduled to be completed by 2023, the new tower, called ‘Burj Jumeria’, will be the centrepiece of the new 'Downtown Jumeira' development.
Standing at a height of 550 metres, the new tower will leave His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai’s mark on the city permanently, as the base of the new tower will outline the shape of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed fingerprints.
Downtown Jumeira will cater to residents and tourists alike with Burj Jumeira as its centrepiece.
The tower’s design is inspired by the harmonious waves of the UAE’s desert sand dunes and will be home to numerous entertainment options, including water fountains, a terraced outdoor amphitheatre, a vibrant mall and is designed to host interactive lighting and fireworks displays.
The new community will have a public transport link with a covered walkway through to Sharaf DG Metro Station. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed described the tower and Downtown Jumeira as a continuation of Dubai’s vision for becoming a city of the future, distinguished by its intelligent design and cohesive infrastructure and network.
