School Exam Dates Announced

The third term exams have officially been announced after last week’s proposal to change the dates.

Applying to students in grades 1-12 in schools that follow the Ministry of Education curriculum, exams dates typically fell in May. Now, the exam dates for six subjects: Islamic Education, General Science, Health, Social Studies, Arabic and English will be changed to take place from 20 May to 12 June, while the rest will take place on 20 June to 27 June, also depending on which level and module the students is taking.

Students from grades 1-9 taking general modules will complete their exams on 25 June, students in 10-12 will complete their exams on 26 June, and students in grades 6-8 taking elite modules will finish on 25 June.

Students taking elite modules in grades 6-8 will complete on 25 June, and Grade 9 students will complete on 27 June.

Students taking advanced modules in Grade 10 will complete on 26 June, while Grades 11-12 will complete on 27 June.
