Hanna Karen Arroyo, a woman from Dubai took to twitter to tell about her heroic rescue story in Dubai’s sandy dessert. The tweet went viral in minutes because the rescuer was none other than Dubai’s Ruler His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
“My friend and I got stuck on the desert of Dubai and we got rescued by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid [sic],” Hanna Karen Arroyo revealed on Twitter, alongside a snapshot of the smiling royal with the relieved group.
The tweet has been shared more than 1400 times in less than 24 hours lauding HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for rescuing a group of friends stuck in dessert just off the road.
The Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai stopped in his white Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen and helped Arroyo and her friends tow the vehicle.
Arroyo also posted an image of a young Emirati boy helping attach a cable between the group’s vehicle and Sheikh Mohammed’s car.
This isn’t the first time membrs of Dubai’s royal family have come to the rescue of those stranded in dessert. Last year, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, helped the driver of a tipper lorry who was stranded in the desert.
