Dubai is known for it's luxuries, and those that like the finer things in life are spoiled for choice on any given day. From gold plated cars to kitchenware, we have heard and seen them all. The luxury now seems to be extended to the new-borns of Dubai’s richest with the launch of the world’s most expensive gold plated baby crib.
The crib, clad in 24-karat gold plating, and lined with Swarovski diamond-encrusted quilting, will be unveiled at INDEX, the interior design exhibition, from March 26-29, 2018 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Priced at Dhs 220,000, the crib is an ultimate luxury and welcome gift for the baby who is born with it all. And wealthy parents are already on the waiting list eager to welcome their babies home in a golden crib, according to the manufacturer.
The baby bed has been designed to mimic the feel of being in the womb, while offering parents a chic, high-end piece of furniture to add to their home,” said Polish designers Marta Buzalska and Darius Panczyk.
The Luulu bed costs more than a year’s rent on a two-bedroom apartment in the Burj Khalifa.
