A new outdoor destination is set to open within months in Dubai’s outskirts. The Dubai Safari, a 1.2 sq km outdoor zoo will be located at Al Warqa’a 5 which aims to create an ideal habitat for wildlife. There has been no official statement on the exact opening date according to Dubai Municipality but will be completed within the next few months. Dubai Safari, twice the size of Vatican City, will feature an Asian Village, African Village, Open Safari Village and a children’s park.
A valley, supported by solar power, has been developed which will include a waterfall, a stream and a lake for fish. Visitors will be transported by electrical cars, buses and train in different sections of the park and will get an opportunity to interact with the animals.
