Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has extended its electric bicycle delivery network into seven new residential and commercial districts, now bringing the eco-friendly service to 11 communities across the emirate.
Following a pilot phase launched in February across four pilot locations, the expansion brings e-bike operations to:
- Dubai Marina
- Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT)
- Dubai Media City
- Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard (Downtown Dubai)
- Al Twar 1
- Al Twar 2
- Al Qusais 1
These zones join the original trial locations of Al Karama, Al Hamriya, Umm Hurair, and Al Mankhool.
For residents living in these communities, the move guarantees quieter residential streets and enhanced road safety standards as logistics companies swap conventional motorbikes for electric alternatives.
