The Eid Al Adha 2026 holiday dates for private sector employees across the country have been announced. The announcement confirms that Arafat Day and the Eid Al Adha holidays will run from Tuesday, 26 May until Friday, 29 May, providing residents with four days off and six including the weekend, allowing families to plan celebrations and short vacations.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation said the holidays will apply to all private sector companies in the UAE.
Eid Al Adha is one of the most important holidays in the Islamic calendar and is marked with prayers, family gatherings, charity, and traditional meals.
Residents are expected to see increased travel activity, hotel bookings, and shopping offers during the holiday period.
