The ongoing regional tensions in the UAE have been challenging for businesses across the region. In a move to support homegrown businesses, Majid Al Futtaim has announced a new initiative to offer free physical and digital platforms to UAE entrepreneurs and small businesses to showcase their products and services.
'Ma’an by Majid Al Futtaim' comes at a time when many businesses are navigating a difficult economic environment shaped by wider regional tensions. Under the initiative, selected small businesses will be given free space for a month across Majid Al Futtaim destinations. This includes physical pop-ups at locations such as Mall of the Emirates, THAT Concept Store, VOX Cinemas, and Carrefour, giving local brands the chance to connect directly with customers across some of the company’s best-known venues.
The support also extends online through Majid Al Futtaim’s digital ecosystem. Selected brands will be able to gain visibility through the group’s SHARE loyalty programme, helping them reach audiences where millions of visitors already shop, dine, and spend their time.
The initiative is being rolled out in partnership with Dubai SME, part of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.
