Variable Parking Fees Introduced In Dubai

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority in collaboration with Parkin PJSC has rolled out variable parking fees which will come into effect today, replacing fixed rates in high-demand areas

The peak-hour pricing applies daily, during the morning rush from 8am to 10am and during the evening rush from 4pm to 8pm, except on Sundays and public holidays. Off-peak hours, from 10am to 4pm and 8pm to 10pm, retain standard rates, while parking remains free overnight.

Parts of Dubai’s parking zones A, B, C and D will now include premium sub-zones called AP, BP, CP and DP, with higher tariffs. Key premium areas include:

  • Downtown Dubai - near Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall
  • Business Bay
  • Sheikh Zayed Road - main road from Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) to Umm Al Sherif
  • Jumeirah - main road
  • Al Wasl
  • Al Fahidi
  • Naif
  • Al Barsha

Parking rate in premium zones will be Dhs 6 per hour during peak hours, and for standard zones, the price will be Dhs 4 per hour during peak hours. During grand events, parking near DWTC will be priced at Dhs 25 per hour. To see upcoming grand events happening in DWTC, check out Connector's story HERE

Standard zones include Al Nahda First and Second, Al Qusais, Abu Hail, Al Rashidiya, Al Mamzar and Al Quoz 1, 3 and 4.
