The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has confirmed that private-sector employees will also benefit from a two-hour reduction in daily working hours throughout the holy month.
MoHRE stated that private companies may implement flexible or remote work arrangements based on operational needs, provided that daily working hours remain within the permitted limits.
This decision follows FAHR’s announcement, which set Ramadan working hours for ministries and federal authorities from 9am to 2.30pm (Monday to Thursday) and 9am to 12pm on Fridays.
