1. Dubai Metro Is The World's Longest Driverless Metro Line: Dubai Metro features the world's longest driverless and fully automated rail network, stretching 74.6km. On 23 May 2011, the Red Line was recognised by Guinness World Records as the longest driverless metro line, measuring 52.1km.

Dubai Metro Launched With Just 10 Stations: On 9 September 2009, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, inaugurated the Dubai Metro with just 10 stations. Since then, the network has expanded to 53 stations and 129 operating trains, up from the original 79.
