UAE Pavilion Crosses Three-Million-Visitors Milestone At Expo 2025 Osaka

The UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka has reached a remarkable milestone, welcoming three million visitors since opening in April. As one of the most admired and visited national pavilions, it continues to capture global attention with its immersive design and storytelling.

Under the theme 'Earth to Ether', the pavilion highlights UAE’s rich heritage and its forward-looking vision for global progress. Its 90 striking columns, created from agricultural palm waste and inspired by the date palm, symbolise shared purpose, creative exchange and sustainability, which are values deeply rooted in the UAE’s identity.

Marking the milestone, His Excellency Shihab Alfaheem, UAE Ambassador to Japan and Commissioner General of the pavilion, emphasised the pavilion’s role in connecting cultures and said, "Every visitor who walks through the pavilion brings their own voice to our collective journey. Together, we are shaping a narrative that crosses borders, embraces diversity and accelerates progress. With two months remaining, we want more guests to experience our pavilion".

Visitors have praised the pavilion for its engaging experience, with many returning multiple times, a sign of the lasting impression it leaves. Beyond the design and architectural showcases, the pavilion also features thematic zones exploring everything from space explorations to healthcare innovation and more. Apart from this, the Emirati culinary offerings have become a major attraction, with the first ever Emirati restaurant in Japan inside the pavilion.
