New Signage Upgrade Across Dubai Metro To Improve Navigation

RTA / X

Commuters using Dubai Metro will notice their daily journeys have become a little easier. Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority, in partnership with Keolis-MHI, has completed the replacement and installation of 9,000 new signboards across all stations on the Red and Green lines.

The project, which took more than 11,000 man-hours, focused on improving visibility and passenger flow. Signs at the entrance and exit points have been upgraded, with the exit sign now highlighted in bright yellow boxes, while platforms have clearer directional indicators and floor stickers guiding passengers to the correct train lines.

Families will also appreciate the clearer designations for women and children cabins and gold-class compartments, highlighted with new pink and gold markings for easier identification.

Alongside this, posters reminding passengers of public etiquette have been added across stations, ensuring a smoother and more respectful commuting experience.
