Primark, a celebrated global retail brand founded in Dublin, Ireland, 55 years ago, might soon be opening stores in the UAE. With over 450 stores across 17 markets, Primark is known for offering a wide range of affordable and high-quality fashion items, from essentials to stylish clothing and home furnishings.
The buzz is thanks to a new partnership between Alshaya Group, a leading international retail franchise operator, and Primark. Established in Kuwait in 1890, Alshaya Group is set to explore opportunities to introduce Primark’s popular stores to the Middle East.
John Hadden, CEO of Alshaya Group, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "We are incredibly proud to partner with Primark to discuss potential opportunities to bring their stores to the region. For many years, shoppers across the region have asked for Primark and we are looking forward to the start of a successful partnership to help bring their exceptional in-store experience to the Gulf Cooperation Council."
Primark currently operates in 15 European countries and has 16 stores in the US. And with UAE in talks, we can expect many stores across the country!
