Preparations are underway in Dubai to celebrate the upcoming Holy Month of Ramadan, which begins in March. One highlight is the return of the renowned Ramadan Market at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, which will be transformed into Downtown Dubai's top Ramadan destination. The hotel is bringing back its popular al fresco Ramadan Majlis and Ramadan District night market for visitors to enjoy.
The focus of this year's Ramadan Majlis revolves around sustainable dining and fostering community spirit. In collaboration with Ne’ma, the National Food Loss and Waste Initiative, Fresh on the Table, and the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination, the hotel is hosting the event.
Situated on the hotel's Terrace Between the Towers, the Ramadan Majlis will feature a menu sourced locally, with 25% of its items coming from the UAE. These include locally produced manchego and burrata cheeses, along with goat cheese labneh and feta crafted by People of Determination.
Offering stunning panoramic views of the Museum of the Future, the Ramadan Majlis will feature menus inspired by the UAE's diverse landscapes, including its seas, mountains, and land. Guests can enjoy traditional entertainment during the open-air celebrations, with private majlis options available for those seeking extra exclusivity and privacy.
Another highlight of this year's Ramadan celebrations is the return of Ramadan District - Season Two. Located at the Plaza Terrace, this night market will provide a variety of exciting activities and experiences for the community to enjoy under the moonlight. This vibrant market will feature a lineup of activities, including henna art, calligraphy demonstrations, cooking workshops, and live performances. Timings for Ramadan district 5pm to 2am.
