Al Qana, the beloved waterfront destination in Abu Dhabi, is gearing up to welcome Butterfly Gardens Abu Dhabi in 2024. This enchanting venue, a unique addition to the capital, is poised to become a premier attraction for locals and tourists. Positioned next to The National Aquarium at Al Qana, Butterfly Gardens Abu Dhabi will act as a haven for over 40 species, housing over 2,000 butterflies, along with a remarkable variety of plants and animals.
The garden will comprise three well-maintained sections, Asia, the Americas, and Eden Café. Visitors will embark on an extraordinary adventure as they traverse vibrant tropical gardens, each inspired by the distinctive ecosystems of Asia, Central, and South America. In addition to the stunning butterflies and insects from these regions, Eden Café will provide a serene oasis, complete with a cascading waterfall, a peaceful koi pond, elegant white peacocks, and even a chance to enjoy high tea with butterflies.
At Butterfly Gardens Abu Dhabi, visitors will enjoy the remarkable experience of observing butterflies in their native environment, where they freely engage with guests. These gardens are set to be a haven for photographers, and there are future plans to introduce photography classes. An exceptional highlight will be the captivating starlight night setup, providing enchanting visits after dark.
Construction for Butterfly Gardens Abu Dhabi will begin in early 2024, with an opening in the same year. This indoor facility will have climate control, offering optimal conditions for the plants and animals while ensuring year-round comfort for visitors. Operating hours will be from 10am to 10pm, assuring a distinctive and memorable experience for everyone.
