One of UAE's leading airlines, Etihad Airways, achieved a significant milestone by conducting the inaugural commercial flight from terminal A on 31 October. Moreover, the airline has now introduced its premium lounges at the new terminal A within Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Etihad Airways' impressive new lounges are spread across three levels on the northern side of terminal A, situated between Piers C and D. The first and business lounges offer an array of dining choices, areas for relaxation, and entertainment options catering to the preferences of all visitors.
Access to the Etihad lounges is granted to individuals travelling in Etihad's The Residence, first and business class, as well as Etihad Guest members holding the appropriate tier status. Passengers in economy class who desire to experience the exclusive lounge amenities have the option to buy access to Etihad's business lounge, subject to availability.
The lounge is positioned to provide direct access to three gates for select flights. This allows passengers in premium cabins to board directly from the lounge, enhancing convenience and expediting the boarding process.
For Business Class Flyers
In the business class lounge of Etihad Airways, there are various dining options available. Liwan Global Dining is the lounge's casual, all-day dining restaurant. At certain times, guests can also partake in dining at the Roof Lounge, where they can savour an international buffet offering a variety of hot and cold dishes. Furthermore, the Constellation Bar, located within the Roof Lounge, serves an extensive range of beverages.
In addition, the relaxation rooms offer private areas equipped with day beds and comfortable furnishings from Armani Casa, allowing guests to rest and rejuvenate. There are also 18 well-appointed shower suites available for travellers to freshen up before their flight.
For those looking for entertainment, the games room provides table football, air hockey, and digital gaming choices for everyone to have fun. Etihad has also designed a dedicated family room with young travellers in mind. This room is stocked with games, toys, and books to keep the little ones entertained.
For First Class Flyers
The exclusive first lounge provides a special reception area for Etihad's most esteemed guests, along with a private elevator granting access to the Rooftop Lounge located on the complex's top floor. Within the first lounge's dining area, guests can enjoy an enhanced dining experience, featuring à la carte dining options and a fine selection of boutique wines personally recommended by in-house experts.
To provide the utmost in relaxation and indulgence before departure, there are first-class private suites where guests can work, unwind, and dine in complete seclusion. These private suites are provided at no extra cost to passengers flying in The Residence and can be reserved by all other first-class lounge guests.
