Sultan Al Neyadi's Return To Earth Delayed

Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi's return to Earth has been delayed by a day.

Scheduled to take place on Friday, 1 September, Crew-6 consisting of Sultan Al Neyadi, Stephen Bowen, Warren Hoburg, and Andrey Fedyaev, will now return on Saturday, 2 September.

Crew-6's journey back to Earth will be aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, Endeavour, which will touch down off the coast of Florida. The team will return, after completing a six-month-long mission in space, and handing over responsibilities to Crew-7, consisting of astronauts Jasmin Moghbeli, Andreas Mogensen, Satoshi Furukawa, and Konstantin Borisov, which landed aboard the International Space Station on Sunday, 27 August.

NASA said, "Another crew is set to return to Earth this weekend after beginning its space station mission in March. NASA astronaut Stephan Bowen, commander of the SpaceX Dragon Endeavour spacecraft, will lead NASA Pilot Warren Hoburg and Mission Specialists Sultan Al Neyadi and Andrey Fedyaev of Roscosmos when they end their mission as Expedition 69 flight engineers. The quartet is scheduled to undock Endeavour no earlier than Saturday, Sept. 2, and splash down off the coast of Florida."
