Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to open, in early August, a new exit that will improve traffic flow from Financial Centre Street to Ras Al Khor Road. The new exit branches off from the collector road near Bu Kadra Interchange. This upgrade is a key component of RTA's Rapid Traffic Solutions Plan.
The new exit is designed to ease congestion in the busy Ras Al Khor area, which serves multiple commercial and industrial zones. It also eases congestion for vehicles heading towards Dubai-Al Ain Road. According to RTA, peak-hour travel time on this route will be reduced by 54%, dropping from 13 minutes to just 6 minutes.
The initiative complements other recent traffic upgrades, including widening the exit from Ras Al Khor Road which connects to Al Khail Road and Al Meydan Street, doubling vehicle capacity and shortening peak-hour delays. These improvements reflect RTA’s ongoing commitment to enhancing Dubai’s road network and supporting the city’s rapid urban growth.
