Review: Gaucho at DIFC

Gaucho, the award-winning Argentine restaurant, has launched an indulgent celebration of beef called the Carnivore’s Feast. Experience the finest, most succulent and delicious Argentine beef expertly grilled and served straight to your table. Offering a variety of different cuts, the Carnivore’s Feast also serves up delicious accompaniments for the complete gastronomic and meat-fuelled treat.

What we ate

We started with the chorizo sausage, Argentine king prawns and watermelon salad. We were then shown the different cuts of meat by the waiter who explained how each piece should be prepared for maximum taste. We chose the fillet and sirloin, with sides of spinach, sautéed mushrooms and hand cut chips; both dishes were cooked to perfection. Although we’d just eaten a feast fit for a king, we couldn’t resist the salted dulce de leche and hazelnut cheesecake.

Verdict

From starters to desserts, the food was amazing! In addition the decor, ambiance and quality of service was everything you would expect from this five-star venue. It’s a must!
