The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has announced that public schools in Dubai can have distance learning on Fridays during Ramadan.
Public universities will also be able to offer remote learning.
The decisions will come into effect based on the feedback received from parents.
Schools and universities can either opt for in-person classes or distance learning on Fridays, with a mixed mode of teaching not offered.
