Dubai is expanding its position as a global higher education hub with the announcement that three prestigious international universities will be opening campuses in the emirate for the 2025-26 academic year.
The Knowledge and Human Development Authority confirmed that Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), the American University of Beirut (AUB), and Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences will each launch Dubai branches, offering a wider variety of academic programmes and opportunities for students in the UAE.
IIMA, India’s top management institute, brings with it a globally ranked business programme, currently placed 27 in the world in the QS World University Rankings by subject. AUB, ranked 237 overall globally, adds another prestigious Middle Eastern institution to Dubai’s academic landscape.
They join a growing list of top-tier universities already in Dubai, including University of Manchester, University of Birmingham, London Business School and others.
