Dubai has unveiled a new First-Time Home Buyer Programme designed to make property ownership more accessible for UAE residents. Launched jointly by the Dubai Land Department and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the initiative offers exclusive support for Emiratis and residents purchasing their first home in Dubai.

The programme offers first-time buyers a range of benefits including:

  • Priority access to new off-plan residential launches.

  • Preferential pricing on homes valued up to Dhs 5 million.

  • Tailored mortgage solutions from participating UAE banks, including Emirates NBD, Emirates Islamic, Dubai Islamic Bank, Mashreq, and Commercial Bank of Dubai.

The programme is open to all UAE residents aged 18 and above, regardless of nationality or income level, as long as they do not already own a freehold property in Dubai. Applicants can register online to access the benefits.

Leading Dubai developers such as Emaar, Nakheel, Meraas, DAMAC, Azizi, Ellington, Dubai Properties, Danube, Binghatti, Majid Al Futtaim, Palma Holding and Wasl are backing the initiative, promising improved commercial terms and unit access to eligible buyers.

Part of Dubai’s Real Estate Strategy 2033, the programme is designed to boost home ownership, stimulate long-term demand, and double the real estate sector’s contribution to Dubai’s economic growth.
