Dubai Comedy Festival this year is turning up the volume on the laughter, adding a second wave of international comedy stars to its already blockbuster lineup. Taking place from 2 to 12 October, the festival is set to light up stages across Dubai Opera and Coca-Cola Arena as key venues for a world-class roster of multilingual performers.
The newly announced acts bring even more cultural flair to the stage, with shows in Arabic, English, French, Russian, and Hindi, making it one of the most inclusive comedy events of the year.
Here’s who’s joining the party:
-
Amer Zahr on 11 October at Dubai Opera. The Palestinian-American comic known for his political satire and sharp wit returns after a sold-out Dubai show last year.
-
Redouane Bougheraba on 12 October at Dubai Opera. France’s comedy powerhouse will bring his high-speed humour and Marseille charm to the stage.
-
Ivan Abramov on 12 October at Dubai Opera. The Russian comedian will debut his show 'Hi-Hi, Ha-Ha', blending clever observations with offbeat comedy.
-
Gaurav Kapoor on 12 October at Dubai Opera. Known for his hilarious takes on Indian middle-class life, Kapoor will deliver Hindi stand-up touching on everything from 90s nostalgia to marriage.
They join other headliners, announced earlier in May, including Tom Segura on 2 October at Coca-Cola Arena, Joanne McNally on 7 October at Dubai Opera, Zakir Khan on 12 October at Coca-Cola Arena, Akaash Singh on 5 October at Dubai Opera, Omid Djalili on 5 October at Dubai Opera, Malik Al Masrah on 3 October at Dubai Opera and John Achkar on 11 October at Dubai Opera.
