Employees from the public sector across the UAE will be able to work from home on Fridays during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

However, the work-from-home option is only available to 70% of all the staff, with 30% required to work from the office on Fridays.

Additionally, students in public schools as well as public universities will also be able to attend classes remotely on Fridays, as long as there are no examinations taking place.

Following the announcement made by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, also approved remote working on Fridays, during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
