His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, witnessed a live demonstration of the G1 humanoid robot this week at Al Mudaif Majlis, Union House.
Developed by Dubai Future Labs, the Unitree G1 is a lightweight humanoid robot designed to mimic human movement. It will soon be featured at the Museum of the Future, where it will welcome visitors as part of the museum’s interactive tech displays, reinforcing Dubai’s role as a global innovation hub.
The demonstration took place during a gathering attended by local dignitaries, ministers, investors, and senior figures from both public and private sectors.
During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed also attended a lecture titled 'The UAE as a Destination for the World’s Wealthy', delivered by His Excellency Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing. The lecture highlighted the country’s growing appeal to high-net-worth individuals, noting that over 131,000 wealthy individuals had settled in the UAE by 2024, with a further rise expected this year. Dubai’s quality of life, safety, and infrastructure continue to make it a top choice for global talent and investors.
