UAE Sets Up Field Hospital In Turkey

The UAE has set up the Emirati Relief Field Hospital to help provide relief aid to earthquake victims in Turkey.

Situated in Gaziantep, the first field hospital is equipped with 50 beds and four ICU beds.

The hospital has several departments, including reception, screening, emergency, surgery, intensive care, dentistry, x-ray, laboratory, pharmacy and outpatient sections.

Individuals that are struggling from anxiety, depression and post-traumatic disorders caused by the disaster that hit the country will also be able to seek help through the psychologists.

Over 36,000 were killed in the earthquakes that hit Syria and Turkey on 6 February.
