The Loop, is a new proposed plan in Dubai, offering a 93km cycling and running highway to residents and visitors.
The project by developers URB, aims to create an all year long climate controlled environment, making it easier to commute within Dubai.
The initiative will help in creating the highway as the primary mode of transportation for 80% of residents by 2040.
As Dubai witnesses a hotter climate for a majority of the year, the temperature controlled highway will help in making the journey around Dubai a pleasant one.
The aim of the project is to also make it accessible for people to reach their destination within 20 minutes, be it on foot or by cycling.
The sustainable and green corridor will also feature leisure and wellness facilities and centres including fitness stations and sports courts.
