Dubai Police has issued a warning to the public to be careful against carbon monoxide poisoning.
In a post on Twitter, carbon monoxide is described as the 'silent killer' and is colourless, odourless, and hard to detect.
Inhaling carbon monoxide can be deadly and proper ventilation of closed spaces should be maintained.
While using cooling or heating appliances, only certified products should be used.
To avoid carbon monoxide poisoning, an alarm should be installed in all housing units, and professionals should maintain the alarms to run smoothly.
Coal burners and essences should be avoided in closed spaces.
Avoid sitting in cars in garages and other enclosed spaces.
